Stamp duty is calculated as a flat percentage of the property's DLC (District Level Committee) rate or the transaction value, whichever is higher. The 1% registration fee is applied separately. Rajasthan reduced its stamp duty in Budget 2022-23, making it more affordable than many other states.
Méthodologie de calcul
This calculator applies Rajasthan's flat stamp duty rate (6% male / 5% female or joint) plus the 1% registration fee to the property value you enter, as published by IGRS Rajasthan (epanjiyan.raj.nic.in).
Exonérations et abattements
Female buyers and joint owners (where at least one is female) pay 5% instead of 6%, saving 1 percentage point. Some rural and agricultural transactions may attract different rates — consult your local sub-registrar.
Changements récents des règles
Stamp duty was reduced in Rajasthan's Budget 2022-23 (effective from the 2023-24 fiscal year) — male rates dropped from 8% to 6%, and female rates from 6% to 5%. Rates shown reflect the schedule from April 2024.
